One of my favorite artist Freddie Moore celebrates his 100th birthday today! Best known for his classic design of Mickey Mouse.

Also known for his Freddie Moore girls, which he used for some of Disney most memorable females in Disney animation

The very cute centaurs from Fantasia

Daughters from "Casey at the Bat" sequence from Make Mine Music

Even redesigned Woody Woodpecker my favorite cartoon character to his most appealing look, during a brief stay at the Walter Lantz studio in the 1940s

Masters of Animation!- Ted Kierscey

Firebird from Fantasia 2000

One of my all time favorite Artist Ted Kierscey was interviewed on the TAG Blog. I suggested to them that an interview of an EFX animator was long over do... & Ted was the one i wanted to hear his story. One of the masters of Effects animation. He should be a household name with other Disney greats like of Glen Keane, Eric Goldberg or Andreas Deja. Over 41 years with Disney creating the beautiful Special effects in the classic animated films of my life.
